Master of Science in Analytical and Structural Mathematics By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on three subfields: Analytical Method in Number Theory, Structural Theory of Algebra, and Functional Analysis and Topology.

In number theory, research topics include estimating exponential sums for multi-variable polynomials, exploring p-adic sizes of factorial functions, and resolving Diophantine equation problems. The Structural Theory of Algebra addresses isomorphism classes of Leibniz algebras and properties of Armendariz and Gamma-rings. 

Functional Analysis and Topology study infinite-dimensional topological vector spaces, such as Fréchet spaces and C(X) functions on Hausdorff spaces. This program provides graduates with a solid foundation in advanced mathematical concepts and research.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
