Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the synthesis and characterization of materials and nanomaterials for analytical applications using both synthetic and natural resources.
This program emphasizes the preparation of diverse materials, such as synthetic ligands, photocatalytic materials, functional polymers, natural sorbents, and nanostructured materials. Research includes applications in environmental cleanup, sensor development, and the creation of analytical methods. Key areas of exploration involve electrochemical and optical analyses, chemical and biosensor development, and water treatment procedures and prototypes. Students will gain the expertise necessary to innovate in the field of analytical chemistry.
