Master of Science in Animal Behaviour and Welfare By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) provides students with a comprehensive understanding of animal welfare applicable to research, management, care, production, inspection, and assessment. The program aims to develop a scientific understanding of animal welfare and behavior, integrating behavioral science with other disciplines to enhance welfare standards.

Research in this field focuses on optimizing animal health and welfare through interdisciplinary approaches, analyzing behavioral implications, and implementing strategic production methods. This program supports the sustainability of the agricultural community while safeguarding human health, equipping graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to make meaningful contributions to animal welfare practices.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate.
