Master of Science in Animal Production By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on sustainable production practices to enhance the efficiency of animal production. The program covers the management of both ruminant and non-ruminant livestock, focusing on the production of clean, safe, nutritious, and high-quality food for consumers while promoting environmental conservation in animal husbandry.
A key component of the program is production system analysis, which includes resource evaluation and farm economics. Research in this field integrates knowledge of animal production and health, encompassing areas such as entrepreneurship, infrastructure, management, farm mechanization, and the management of animal products and waste.
Through rigorous study and research, graduates will be equipped to make meaningful contributions to sustainable practices in animal production.
• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate.
