Emerging research areas also focus on mid-infrared fiber laser sources that operate within the 2000 nm to 3000 nm wavelength range, which have potential applications in eye-safe free-space optical communications, laser range-finding, and bio-photonics. Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
