Master of Science in Avian Medicine By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the diseases and their aetiological agents affecting poultry, exotic birds, and wild avian species. The program encompasses the molecular mechanisms, epidemiology, pathogenesis, and pathology of these diseases, along with treatment responses and the development of diagnostic kits and vaccines.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, the program provides hands-on training to develop specialized skills in avian medicine, particularly in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases in exotic and wild birds.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
