The Master of Science in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on applying computer science and information technology to analyze and interpret the growing wealth of genomic and proteomic data.

This program emphasizes systems biology, studying organisms as integrated living systems that encompass individual biological components, from molecules to cellular interactions. It employs multidisciplinary approaches, including bioinformatics, genomics, proteomics, and cell biochemistry, to understand gene and protein networks, cell signaling, and metabolic pathways. Graduates will be well-equipped to contribute to advancements in biology and medicine.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree (with honours) in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.000
