Master of Science in Computational Operations Research By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on applying computers and operations research techniques to solve problems across various scientific fields, including engineering, transportation, inventory control, and urban planning. The program emphasizes the optimization methodologies necessary for finding viable solutions to complex problems.
Students will engage in core sub-fields such as mathematical programming, optimization, optimal control, analytics, and operations research. Current research interests include optimization techniques, heuristics and metaheuristics, artificial intelligence, data science, data analytics, and intelligent systems, preparing graduates to address real-world challenges effectively.
• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
