Master of Science in Energy By Research Mode focuses on both fundamental and applied research in energy engineering, emphasizing the development and usage of alternative, renewable, and sustainable technologies. Key areas of study include solar, wind, hydro, tidal, biomass, and hydrogen energy.
Research efforts involve the design of environmentally friendly energy generation and storage systems, such as solar tracking devices, modified Stirling engines, and wind farm infrastructure, including generation and distribution systems. Additional projects may include gasifier development for biomass energy, automated methane gas generation, and the integration of smart technologies like smart windows and chimneys to foster healthier indoor environments.
Students are required to complete relevant coursework, conduct impactful research, and present their findings in seminars, preparing them for advancements in the energy field.
