The Master of Science in Entomology By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) aims to equip graduate students with both basic and applied skills necessary to professionally address insect-related challenges. The program covers a wide range of research areas, including biological control, insect management, insect ecology and systematics, insect physiology, biochemistry, toxicology, biomolecules, and pesticide application techniques.

Through a combination of coursework and rigorous research, students will develop the expertise needed to tackle complex entomological issues and contribute to effective solutions in agricultural and environmental contexts.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate.
