Master of Science in Environmental Economics, Planning and Management By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the essential role of research in sustainable environmental planning and management. The program covers the preparation of strategies for environmental management at all stages of development and includes evaluations of development plans and sustainable models in urban planning and transportation.

Students will also investigate the economic impacts of environmental policies worldwide, addressing issues such as air pollution, water quality, toxic substances, solid waste, and global warming. This curriculum aims to prepare graduates to effectively contribute to sustainable environmental practices and policies.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
