Master of Science in Epidemiology and Biostatistics By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the essential public health discipline that examines disease occurrence, distribution, causation, transmission, prevention, and control. This program emphasizes the importance of monitoring and surveillance in understanding public health challenges.

Students will engage in statistical analysis of epidemiological data, gaining insights into disease patterns and their relationships with various factors. The curriculum is designed to enhance knowledge and skills in disease prevention and control, as well as the management and monitoring of health outcomes, equipping graduates to make significant contributions to public health research and practice.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
