Master of Science in Equine Medicine By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on developing expertise in equine research, particularly regarding clinical cases, diseases, diagnosis, and treatment. Students will engage in clinical research studies that involve collecting clinical data and developing more effective laboratory diagnostic methods for investigating and treating equine diseases.

Candidates will also have the opportunity to explore specialized areas, including equine reproduction and breeding issues, zoonotic diseases, epidemiology, exercise physiology, and the use of diagnostic equipment in clinical case investigations and field surgeries. The research group excels in areas such as internal medicine, reproduction, respiratory tract diseases, metabolic disorders, and normal and abnormal exercise physiology in endurance horses, preparing graduates for advanced careers in equine medicine.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor's degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
