Master of Science in Fisheries Science By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to understand and manage fisheries effectively. This program offers opportunities to study various aspects of fisheries, including fish reproductive biology, food habits, biodiversity, physiology, and fishery technology. Emphasis is placed on population dynamics, resource assessment, and management strategies aimed at achieving sustainable economic yields.
Through a diverse range of research, the program supports academic learning while providing valuable insights for resource managers and the public, enhancing the understanding of fishery resources and their conservation and sustainability.
• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
