Master of Science in Food Service Management By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is designed to prepare graduates for advanced careers in the food service and hospitality industries. This program also equips candidates for roles in teaching and research, such as university lecturers or consultants in the hospitality field.
Students will engage in research areas related to restaurant management, design and layout, menu planning, food culture, food tourism, culinary skills, gastronomy, cultural heritage, and sustainable food practices. Graduates will be well-prepared to contribute effectively to the evolving landscape of the food service and hospitality sectors.
• A Bachelor's degree in relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 2.750
