Master of Science in Health and Rehabilitation By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to engage in teaching, research, and specialist services within rehabilitation. This program emphasizes the application of health sciences to enhance physical, cognitive, social, and psychological functions through non-pharmacological treatments, including the use of equipment, robotics, and therapeutic activities.
Students will explore core areas of rehabilitation, such as Rehabilitation Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech Therapy. The program also covers allied services, including Rehabilitation Nursing, Rehabilitation Psychology, Social Work, Orthotics and Prosthetics, Podiatry, Sports Rehabilitation, and General Rehabilitation Practice. Through rigorous research, graduates will contribute to the advancement of rehabilitation practices and improve the quality of care for individuals in need.
