Master of Science in Marine and Freshwater Ecosystem By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the study of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, examining energy flow, biogeochemical cycles, and ecosystem dynamics. The program emphasizes understanding the effects of human-induced pollution on these ecosystems.

Students will engage in research that investigates the interactions within marine and freshwater environments, exploring how various factors influence ecological health and sustainability. This program equips graduates with the skills needed to address environmental challenges and contribute to the conservation and management of aquatic ecosystems.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
