Master of Science in Marine Ecology and Biodiversity By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the population biology and community structure of marine organisms at gene, species, and ecosystem levels. This program emphasizes the application of both conventional and molecular tools to gain insights into the structure and functions of marine biota. 

Students will analyze cause-effect relationships between environmental parameters and biodiversity to develop effective management strategies for marine resources and their ecosystems. Graduates will be prepared to contribute to the conservation and sustainable management of marine environments.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
