Master of Science in Mathematical Physics and Engineering By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the application of mathematical structures and techniques to the physical sciences and engineering. The program covers traditional applied mathematics areas, including fluid dynamics, continuum mechanics, and dynamical systems, while also exploring concepts from quantum sciences and relativity.
Students will engage with novel mathematical frameworks underlying quantum theory and space-time, delving into established topics such as operator theory, mathematical physics equations, and geometric and topological methods. Areas of particular interest include crack problems, integro-differential equations, foundations of quantum theory, quantum information, and cosmological solutions, preparing graduates for advanced careers in both mathematics and physics.
• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
For other qualifications and certificates (e.g., Other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree , etc..) please contact our educational consultants or submit your application for Admission assessment.
