Master of Science in Medical Microbiology By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the study of microorganisms responsible for infectious diseases. This program explores key areas such as molecular epidemiology, prevention and control strategies for infectious agents, the pathogenesis of diseases, and the host immune responses to infections.

Students will engage in research that contributes to a deeper understanding of microorganisms, leading to innovative interventions that benefit global health. The curriculum is designed to equip graduates with the necessary skills to address pressing public health challenges and improve disease management through microbiological research.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
