Master of Science in Nanobiotechnology By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the integration of biotechnology and nanoscience, emphasizing the study of biomolecules such as proteins and nucleic acids to fabricate functional nanostructures.
This program explores a wide range of applications, including medical implants, microelectronic silicon substrates, biosensors, diagnostic tools, drug delivery systems, transducers, and nanomechanics. Research conducted at UPM has successfully demonstrated the delivery of cargo into mammalian cells using nanoparticles derived from hepatitis B virus and filamentous bacteriophages. Students will be equipped with the skills to contribute to advancements in this innovative field.
