Master of Science in Neuroscience By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the scientific study of the nervous system, including aspects such as neuronal development, maturation, and function, as well as the pathogenesis of neurological disorders. This program explores the complex and interdisciplinary nature of neuroscience, which integrates fields like biophysics, psychology, neuroinformatics, genetics, molecular and cell biology, neuropharmacology, toxicology, neuroelectrophysiology, and neuromedicine.
Students will engage in research that provides a deeper understanding of neurological processes and disorders, equipping them with the skills necessary to contribute to advancements in neuroscience. The program prepares graduates to tackle challenges in understanding and treating neurological conditions.
• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
