Master of Science in Numerical Analysis By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on developing numerical methods for approximating solutions to differential and integral equations. The program emphasizes the analysis of iterative methods, stability, and error analysis, with particular attention to the numerical solutions of stiff ordinary differential equations, delay differential equations, and boundary value problems.

In addition to theoretical numerical analysis, students will engage in research applications across various fields of science and engineering, collaborating with interdisciplinary research groups within the department. This comprehensive program equips graduates with the skills necessary to tackle complex numerical challenges in diverse applications.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
