Master of Science in Nursing By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) equips nursing students with the skills to design and conduct scientific research, thereby reinforcing their theoretical foundations in nursing practice and healthcare delivery. The primary objective of nursing research is to enhance the health of populations, clients, and their families.

This program emphasizes four core themes that reflect the research strengths and expertise of the academic staff at the UPM Nursing Unit: critical care nursing, community health nursing, pediatric nursing, and medical-surgical nursing. By focusing on evidence-based practices, the program aims to improve nursing knowledge and skills, establishing a solid foundation for research in the nursing field.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
