Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of nutritional studies and dietary practices essential for maintaining human health. The program emphasizes nutrient requirements, metabolism, and the critical role of nutrition in conjunction with physical activity.
Students will explore advanced laboratory techniques in areas such as food chemistry, food safety, nutritional biochemistry, and clinical nutrition. Additionally, the program equips students with essential skills in critiquing scientific literature, preparing manuscripts, and delivering seminar presentations, laying a solid foundation for future research and professional practice in the field of nutritional sciences.
