Master of Science in Plant Science By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) offers in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of plant growth, development, and productivity. The program provides a comprehensive understanding of various areas, including genetics, biochemistry, physiology, and cell biology at the molecular level.

Students will apply their foundational biological knowledge to explore how crops interact with their environment and how these interactions influence productivity. Through rigorous research, graduates will be equipped to address challenges in plant science and contribute to advancements in agricultural practices.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate.
