Master of Science in Plantation Technology By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on technology adaptation in plantation management, emphasizing the importance of assessing crop performance and technological suitability. This program highlights phenotyping, a comprehensive evaluation of complex plant traits that can enhance agronomic properties and improve yields. 

Research will incorporate advanced techniques, including genomic analysis in laboratories and wireless sensor networks, UAVs, and AI on the farm. Students will explore integrated technology adaptation to ensure effective agricultural practices that match the physical conditions and health of crops. Graduates will be well-prepared for careers as field managers, researchers, agronomists, and consultants, both domestically and internationally.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
