Master of Science in Structural Biology By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the latest developments in modern biochemistry and structural biology.

This program emphasizes understanding the structure-function relationship of biological macromolecules, particularly proteins and enzymes. Students will utilize state-of-the-art biophysical techniques, including X-ray crystallography, Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS), electron microscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. 

Additionally, the program incorporates hybrid methods that combine computational tools with experimental data to elucidate the structures of complex macromolecular interactions. Graduates will gain essential skills to advance research in structural biology.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree (with honours) in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.000
