Master of Science in Surgery By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on enhancing the health and well-being of animals through a deeper understanding of surgical management and the prevention of related issues. This program includes studies on the application of surgical techniques using animals as models to explore disease pathogenesis, treatment modalities, and prevention strategies.

Research in this area emphasizes the development of minimally invasive diagnostic techniques, tissue reconstruction and replacement, and the application of novel biomaterials and surgical implants. The research group encompasses expertise across various disciplines, including orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, reconstructive surgery, anesthesiology, diagnostic imaging, and tissue engineering.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor's degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
