Master of Science in Theoretical and Computational Physics By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the theoretical study of physical systems through mathematical models and advanced techniques. This program emphasizes the use of numerical and symbolic computations, alongside computer simulations, as essential tools for analyzing complex physical systems.

Research areas within the program include quantum theory, relativity, field theory, condensed matter physics, wave propagation, nonlinear dynamics, and computational methods in physics. Students will develop a solid foundation in theoretical physics, preparing them for innovative research and professional opportunities in various scientific fields.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
