Master of Science in Toxicology By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) offers a comprehensive examination of the harmful effects that chemical, physical, or biological agents can have on living organisms and the environment. This program emphasizes the prevention and mitigation of these adverse effects, integrating principles from chemistry, biology, pharmacology, and medicine to advance understanding of how various substances affect biological systems.

Students will explore a broad range of specialized areas within toxicology, including environmental toxicology, occupational toxicology, regulatory toxicology, molecular and cellular toxicology, organ toxicology, toxicogenomics, food toxicology, ecotoxicology, reproductive toxicology, medical and forensic toxicology, and risk assessment. By earning this degree, graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to make significant contributions to public health and environmental safety, preparing them for impactful roles in addressing the increasing demand for toxicology experts.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor's degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
