Master of Science in Tropical Rainforest Ecosystem Services By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on managing sustainable ecosystem processes within both natural and planted forests. The program addresses key elements such as forest carbon sequestration, sustainable bio-resource production, biodiversity, and stand dynamics.

Students will explore the roles of indigenous plants in urban landscapes, ecotourism services, bio-resource valuation, and the economics of bio-based products. Additionally, the program examines the economics of sustainable businesses and corporate activities, aiming to balance natural resource use with improvements in people's quality of life.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
