Master of Science in Vaccine and Therapeutics By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) emphasizes research and innovation in the development of vaccines and immunotherapeutic products. This program focuses on equipping students with the skills to develop and apply various techniques for creating new products, application methods, and systems.
Students will employ established methodologies across related disciplines, including virology, microbiology, immunology, serology, cell biology, molecular biology, cancer biology, fermentation technology, and nanobiotechnology. The primary focus of research will be on infectious diseases caused by viruses, bacteria, and other microbes or parasites, as well as non-infectious diseases such as cancer, metabolic disorders, and immune modulation across various vertebrate, avian, and aquatic species. Graduates will be well-prepared to contribute to advancements in vaccine and therapeutic development.
• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
