Master of Soil and Water Engineering By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the conservation and management of soil and water resources.
The program explores the interaction between soils, plants, and water, emphasizing the design and planning of irrigation and drainage systems, soil and water conservation, and agricultural production facilities. Utilizing tools such as artificial intelligence, remote sensing, and GIS modeling, students will address challenges affecting agricultural communities.
Research areas include irrigation and drainage project management, erosion and sedimentation control, water quality, and pollution reduction. The program aims to develop innovative solutions for land and water resource management, enhancing productivity and sustainability in agricultural landscapes and recreational parks.
