Master of Structural Engineering By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on the analysis and design of structures, civil engineering materials, construction methods, and industrialized building systems. 

Key research topics include high-performance concrete, alternative construction materials, computational mechanics, structural dynamics, seismic response, design evaluation, vulnerability assessment, retrofitting of structures, affordable housing design, and bridge assessment. Students will develop the skills necessary to address complex challenges in structural engineering and contribute innovative solutions to the field.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
