Master of Sustainable Recreation and Ecotourism By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) explores key aspects of visitor behavior, the utilization of natural resources, and the management of visitor facilities such as parks. 
This program encompasses a wide range of related sub-fields, including Communication and Public Relations in Ecotourism, Ecotourism Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Tourism Ecological Economics, and Management of Protected Ecotourism Sites. 

Students will also delve into topics such as Wildlife Value Orientation, Heritage Tourism, Recreation and Tourism Planning, and Risk Management. This comprehensive approach prepares graduates to contribute effectively to sustainable practices in recreation and ecotourism, fostering environmental stewardship and community engagement.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.750 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate
