Master of Veterinary Science in Avian Medicine By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) focuses on diseases and their etiological agents affecting poultry, exotic, and wild birds. The program explores the molecular mechanisms, epidemiology, pathogenesis, pathology, treatment responses, and the development of diagnostic kits and vaccines for selected diseases.

Students will receive hands-on training to cultivate specialized skills and expertise in avian medicine, with a strong emphasis on diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases, particularly in exotic and wild bird populations. This comprehensive program prepares graduates to address the unique health challenges in avian species effectively.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor's degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
