Master of Veterinary Science in Equine Medicine By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) emphasizes the development of specialized knowledge in equine medicine, focusing on clinical cases, disease diagnosis, and treatment. The program involves conducting clinical research studies that prioritize the collection of clinical data and the advancement of effective laboratory diagnostic methods for equine diseases.

Students will have the opportunity to research specialized topics, including equine reproduction and breeding challenges, zoonotic diseases, epidemiology, exercise physiology, and utilizing diagnostic tools in clinical investigations and field surgeries. The strengths of the research group include internal medicine, reproductive health, diseases of the respiratory tract, metabolic disorders, and assessing normal and abnormal exercise physiology in endurance horses. This program equips graduates for impactful careers in equine veterinary practice.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor's degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
