Master of Veterinary Science in Nutrition By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) targets research related to the nutrition of farm, companion, laboratory, wildlife, and zoo animals, emphasizing health and nutritional management. The program revolves around creating effective feeding and management systems that improve animals' growth efficiency and health while enhancing the human health benefits of animal products and preserving environmental quality.
Students will engage in research that spans applied animal feeding issues to foundational scientific questions about animal growth, production, and health. This includes investigations into how nutrition affects health, immunity, digestive and metabolic disorders, reproductive performance, as well as the impact of bacterial and parasitic diseases, organic toxins, and nutritional stress. Additional research areas may cover feed evaluation, processing, nutrient requirements, precise ration formulation, phase feeding, and the use of feed additives for maintaining optimal performance in neonatal, growing, finishing, and breeding animals.
• A Bachelor's degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
