Master of Veterinary Science in Pathology By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) emphasizes the study of animal disease pathology, focusing on zoonoses and infections affecting laboratory animals. This program covers a broad spectrum of topics, including general pathology, specific and systemic pathology, and the identification and assessment of pathological changes at various levels: gross, histopathological, ultrastructural, and molecular.

Students will employ diverse research methods aimed at generating accurate diagnoses, characterizing pathophysiological conditions, and unraveling the mechanisms underlying diseases. The program is particularly strong in environmental pathology and in developing vaccines to control and treat diseases affecting ruminants, equipping graduates with vital expertise in veterinary pathology.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor's degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
