Master of Veterinary Science in Pharmacology By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) specializes in the scientific investigation of drug interactions and the effects of poisons and biohazards on biological systems in both in vivo and in vitro settings. This program covers vital subjects including pharmacodynamics, toxicodynamics, pharmacokinetics, toxicokinetics, and the mechanisms of drug and poison actions on the body.

Students will explore specific drug-drug and drug-poison interactions, emphasizing the pathways and mechanisms of action. The program also includes assessments of extracts and bioactive compounds from natural (plant and animal) and synthetic sources, focusing on their potential for drug discovery and their physiological roles in addressing toxicological challenges. This curriculum prepares graduates for impactful careers in veterinary pharmacology.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor's degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
