Master of Veterinary Science in Surgery By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is dedicated to improving animal health and welfare by advancing knowledge in surgical management and addressing related challenges. This program involves the application of surgical techniques on animals to gain insights into disease pathogenesis, treatment, and prevention.

Students will engage in research focused on developing minimally invasive diagnostic methods, techniques for tissue reconstruction and replacement, and utilizing innovative biomaterials and surgical implants. The expertise within the research group spans numerous disciplines, including orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, reconstructive surgery, anesthesiology, diagnostic imaging, and tissue engineering, preparing graduates for impactful roles in veterinary surgery.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor's degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
