Master of Science in Anatomy and Histology By Research Mode at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) explores the comprehensive study of anatomy, including macroscopic (gross), microscopic (histology), and developmental (embryology) anatomy. The program covers gross anatomy, which entails regional, systemic, and clinical anatomy; histology, focusing on the microscopic examination of tissues using specific staining methods; and embryology, the study of the development from embryo to fetus.

Research in this field provides essential tools for investigating induced and naturally occurring diseases, toxicology, pharmacology, innovative therapeutic regimes, natural products, and various cancers. Anatomy and histology are applied to understand the mechanisms of action of various compounds at tissue and cellular levels. The program's strengths include the development of synthetic compositions for bone repair and research on ruminant and avian diseases.

Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor's degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
