The Bachelor in Nutrition with Honours at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in human and community nutrition within the Malaysian context. The programme adopts a multidisciplinary approach, combining theoretical knowledge with practical training in food science, nutritional assessment, community health, and laboratory analysis. Students gain hands-on experience through laboratory work, field studies, and community-based assessments, preparing them to meet the demands of the healthcare sector and the evolving job market. In the final year, students undertake a supervised research project and dissertation, supported by diverse teaching and learning methods including lectures, practical sessions, fieldwork, seminars, and e-learning.
Entry Requirements
• Obtained High School Certificate Level or its equivalent with minimum entry qualification of CGPA 2.75
