The Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) programme at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), offered by the School of Management, was established in 1999 and is fully recognised under Part I of the First Schedule of the Accountants Act 1967. Graduates of this programme are eligible for recognition as Chartered Accountants with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) upon completion of three years of relevant professional experience under the MIA Chartered Accountant’s Relevant Experience (CARE) programme. In addition, the degree is accredited by various national and international professional accounting bodies, enhancing graduates’ professional standing and global career opportunities.
