The Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting and Directing) with Honours at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is a comprehensive programme that develops students’ skills in acting and directing for stage and screen. It provides a strong foundation in performance techniques, text analysis, character development, and the historical and cultural contexts of theatre and film.

Students also gain practical experience in production, including lighting, sound, and set design, while being introduced to the business side of the industry such as marketing and self-promotion. Taught by experienced faculty and supported by industry exposure, the programme prepares graduates for careers in acting, directing, and other fields within the performing arts and media industry.

Entry Requirements 

• Obtained High School Certificate Level or its equivalent with minimum entry qualification of CGPA 2.67
