The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Product Design with Honours at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is a comprehensive programme that develops students’ creativity, technical abilities, and critical thinking in the field of product design. It provides a strong foundation in design theory, aesthetics, human-centred and sustainable design, as well as research methods and design history.

Throughout the programme, students engage in practical design projects that simulate real-world industry challenges, working both individually and in teams. These projects help them develop skills in problem-solving, prototyping, and production while also gaining exposure to industry collaboration.

With guidance from experienced academics and industry professionals, and access to well-equipped design studios and labs, graduates are well-prepared for careers in product design and related creative industries, with the ability to produce innovative and sustainable design solutions.

Entry Requirements 

• Obtained High School Certificate Level or its equivalent with minimum entry qualification of CGPA 2.67
