The Bachelor of Science in Physics with Honours at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) offers a rigorous academic program designed to establish a strong foundation in fundamental physics during the early stages of study. Students are introduced to key core areas, including Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Vibrations and Waves, Modern Physics, and Electronics, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of essential physical principles.

The curriculum allows students to pursue specialization in one of three focused tracks: Pure Physics, Electronics and Semiconductor, or Optics and Photonics. Entry Requirements 

• Obtained High School Certificate Level or its equivalent with minimum entry qualification of CGPA 2.75

Minimum grade B in subjects below:
