Doctor of Philosophy in Inorganic Chemistry (By Research) at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is a research-intensive programme aimed at developing advanced expertise in inorganic chemistry through original and independent research. The programme covers key research areas such as coordination and organometallic chemistry, materials and solid-state chemistry, bioinorganic chemistry, catalysis, and inorganic reaction mechanisms. Students are trained in advanced experimental techniques, data analysis, and scientific communication within a well-equipped research environment and under expert academic supervision. Graduates are well prepared for careers in academia, chemical and materials industries, and research and development institutions.
