Master of Science in Inorganic Chemistry (By Research) at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is a research-oriented postgraduate programme designed to build strong expertise in inorganic chemistry through original and supervised research. The programme focuses on key areas such as coordination and organometallic chemistry, materials and solid-state chemistry, bioinorganic chemistry, catalysis, and inorganic synthesis. Students develop advanced laboratory, analytical, and scientific writing skills within a well-equipped research environment under close academic supervision. Graduates are well prepared for careers in research and development, chemical and materials industries, or for progression to doctoral-level studies.
